Teaching in technology has came along way, especially in educating in healthcare. In my professional role as a Registered Nurse, I use interpersonal communications, linquistics, body-kinestics, spacial-visual, logical-mathematical, and musical strengths to enhance my educating the staff about strategies to provide wellness and advocacy for the patients we serve.

I thought this site was very informational about PDAs. Most younger healthcare professionals are using PDAs for patient management, general medical reference tools, and teaching opportunities for colleagues and patients. I would think the only downfall would be security of patient information, but I'm sure their are ways to secure the electronic medical record.

Module 3 Assignment
The Module 3 assignment really helped me gain insight in using PubMed. The tutorials were excellent and I think Jean LeBear does a awesome job. Please let her know how much I appreciate all her tutorials. She is very patient with students in learning new technology. As a student at the U of U, I have gained a lot of insight and knowledge about searching the indexes in the Eccles library. The databases offered in the library are very helpful in searching for evidence based research and I know that I will use them throughout my practice.
EndNote is an amazing software progam and I am able to keep my own library of resources that I can use in my future practice. Information technology improves the access to research information and enable the practitioner to be informed about current healthcare information and the highest level of evidence such as random-controlled trials.
