Teaching in technology has came along way, especially in educating in healthcare. In my professional role as a Registered Nurse, I use interpersonal communications, linquistics, body-kinestics, spacial-visual, logical-mathematical, and musical strengths to enhance my educating the staff about strategies to provide wellness and advocacy for the patients we serve.

I thought this site was very informational about PDAs. Most younger healthcare professionals are using PDAs for patient management, general medical reference tools, and teaching opportunities for colleagues and patients. I would think the only downfall would be security of patient information, but I'm sure their are ways to secure the electronic medical record.

Nice job with your blog and link. Yes, security is a huge area of debate when it comes to health care and technology, it is therefore being constantly addressed. So what are your thoughts on the second question - Is there any nursing/health care provider role that does not involve teaching in some manner?
ReplyDeleteInteresting question, I don't think so, the nurse must be dead!!!
